Just Because it Hasn’t Happened, Doesn’t Mean It Won’t Happen

Stop yourself for a moment.
Reflect back to 5 years ago; truly allow yourself to remember all the things you said you would accomplish… the things you said you’d give up… the things you said you’d let go of.  Now, stand in the mirror and [truly] look at yourself and say: “It’s okay.  It’s really alright!  I didn’t, but I can!”
Often, we plan out our journey.  We ensure we have a detailed map with all the right turns and directions.  Then, come the detours.  And, often we give up that “journey” simply because it’s not going as planned.  We find ourselves 5 years later guilting ourselves because we “never lost the weight”; “never started those classes”; “never put down the cigarettes”; “never went to the gym”; “never got out of that relationship”; “never mended our broken heart”; “never learned to find ourselves”; “never followed that dream”, and the list goes on.
I challenge you to think: “What if the true reality is: Just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it won’t happen”… you can either end it with a “!” or a “?”… the choice is yours.  However, I’d also challenge you to believe: “My time is now!  I’m in a new season!” because sometimes the plan is to “just do”; “just go”; “just stop” and allow the journey to just map itself.
There is an abundance of “life [just] simply awaiting for you to “LIVE!”.  5 years ago you weren’t the person you are now, and didn’t know the things you know now.  And, neither were you equipped to do what you can do now.
So, instead of constantly reminding yourself of all the things you “wanted to do”, start telling yourself: “My time is now!”; this is a new moment… a new time… a new season, in your life, and it’s up to you what you make of this moment… this time… this season… even the next 5 years.
As they say: “Stop putting off, for tomorrow, what you CAN do today!”, your time is NOW!  Go out and MAKE LIFE for yourself!… you ARE in a new season!

What is a S.M.A.R.T. Goal?

Goals are part of every aspect of business/life and provide a sense of direction, motivation, a clear focus, and clarify importance. By setting goals for yourself, you are providing yourself with a target to aim for. A SMART goal is used to help guide goal setting. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Therefore, a SMART goal incorporates all of these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving that goal.
