Create A Culture Of Selflessness

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want too go far, take others with you!

The only way we will maximize our overall talent is to be completely selfless. We must think of ourselves as one neighborhood, one community. We cannot be so concerned with being the best individuals that we forget to assist the people who live, work, and play with us. Our positions of leadership must set the tone. We all must be intentional about assisting each other in personal and professional development. Furthermore, we are only as strong as our weakest link. So if some players are disadvantaged, we must make a conscious effort to uplift them.

Activity

Everyone posts about the bling, but not about the bills. Research shows that 95% of people who YOU consider to be financially stable (whether it be celebrity or on your block) has learned that buying things does not equal wealth, in fact they have learned giving makes room for more! Start this New Season by making a commitment to donate $5 to the cause of your choice, but if your struggling to make ends meet, donate $10. Giving has to be a sacrifice to be meaningful.
